I began writing to heal after I lost my childhood love at the age of nineteen. As an avid reader since early youth, I always found solace in books. Grief subconsciously pulled me away from my creative passion and in desperation, I only wrote letters to the person I lost. Twelve years later, I realized this is how I coaxed myself out of depression.
